MFI Distribution and Community Model
Metafinance, as a comminty-driven DeFi project started by growing MetaBoard to froster a community network through on-chain nodes and has grown 4000+ users. Due to the conjection in the ether chain network, we chose the path of multi-chain development. At present, the MFI community is developing on ETH, BSC and HECO chains.
Next week, we will iterate a new version of the Metaboard of the Ethereum chain. This means that PETH can no longer be minted through the Metaboard, but you can still mine and redeem through the protocol. The node network is still applicable and retained. In addition, as a gesture for our gratitude to our early node supporters, we will provide protocol incentives.
In the past month, the cross-chain output APY was gradually adjusted according to community votes. The current output distribution of MFI is:
- The amount of funds in the Ethereum chain is the total of the other two chains. The amount of returns is proportion to the funds supported by our early supporters.
- The Binance Smart Chain contitutes a larger pledge and thus larger output compared to the Huobi Ecological Chain.
- Node dividends and node competitions account for half of the Binance Smart Chain and Huobi Ecological Chain. However, the rewards are issued on the Binance Smart Chain. Thus, they belong to the Binance Chain output and are independent of the mining pool output.
- The premise of cross-chain balance is to keep 400 coins a day. For related issues of cross-chain tokens, please refer to Interpretation of Multi-Chain Token MFI
We observed the advantages and limitations of the current community model, which is an unlimited 20% computing power bonus and node competition. In November, we will launch the MetaDEX with the reduction in block rewards of the entire chain. A new community economic model closely integrated with MetaDEX products will be launched. Nodes and MetaBoard users who participate in a new community promotion will obtain early supporter Incentive increase. Community users who stays with MFI will continue to enjoy benefits over the long haul.
